About Maryborough Rifle and Pistol Club

Maryborough Rifle and Pistol Club Inc is a multi-discipline target shooting club located on Walker Street in Maryborough, on the Fraser Coast of Queensland. The club caters for a full range of competition shooting events including silhouette prone rifle, benchrest rifle and Olympic-style target shooting with both rifle and pistol. Facilities comprise a 90-metre outdoor rifle range, a 50-metre outdoor pistol/rifle range, a 25-metre outdoor pistol range with turning targets, and a brand-new 10-metre indoor air rifle/air pistol range with electronic targets. On the outdoor ranges .22 calibre rifles and .22 to .38 calibre pistols are used; air rifles and air pistols are used on the indoor range.
