SSAA Illawarra is the third largest branch in NSW, operating from the SSAA NSW Hill Top Shooting Complex. The complex features three ranges — a 50m Rimfire/Pistol Range, a 500m Range, and an 800m Classified Range — supporting Benchrest, Field Rifle, Gallery Rifle, Metallic Silhouettes and Fly Shoot. Distinct from the Illawarra Pistol Club.
