About SSAA Moonta Branch
SSAA Moonta (SSAA SA Branch No. S03) is a multi-discipline Rifle, Pistol and Shotgun Club located on the Yorke Peninsula, South Australia. The club held its first annual general meeting in 1980 and has grown from six founders to over 130 members. Facilities include 6 ranges (200m main range, 100m metal silhouette, handgun 25m and 50m, action handgun, shotgun and indoor 10m air), a clubhouse, toilets and a camping area for interclub and state title events. The club caters for serious shooters as well as those who shoot for enjoyment and social interaction. Three past Moonta members — Will Godward, Brenton Pollard and Brian Trenwith — have competed at World Cups and Oceania Championships, with Will Godward competing at the 2012 London and 2016 Rio Olympic Games.
