About

SSAA Wagga Wagga operates the 44-hectare Big Springs Rifle Range, wholly owned by the branch of the Sporting Shooters Association of Australia (NSW). Founded in 1991 and located near Wagga Wagga in South Eastern NSW, the rural-zoned complex includes a covered 20-bench firing line plus 5-stand shotgun, 9-stand pistol, and 9-stand offhand ranges. Disciplines include rimfire and centrefire benchrest, military service rifle, field rifle 3-positional, lever action, 5-stand shotgun, rimfire and centrefire 'Fly' (200/300/500m), and black powder. The clubhouse is solar powered and air-conditioned with kitchen, scoring room, hot showers, wheelchair access and rudimentary camping.
