About

Toowoomba Pistol Club Inc, established in Collier Street Toowoomba in 1959 as one of the first two pistol clubs in Queensland, relocated to Helidon in 1985 and incorporated in 1990. The club operates a five-range complex set on freehold land, conducting Pistol Australia, ISSF and Action Pistol matches as well as regular Air Pistol nights. Calibres permitted range from .177 (4.5mm) to .380 (9.65mm) under Queensland Weapons Branch limits. The club promotes interclub competition, hosts open and invitation shoots, and runs monthly Come and Try Saturdays for prospective members aged 11+. Approved members may use the ranges between 0800 and 2200 daily.
