Event Program

Event Location: SSAA Majura Range; veer left off Federal Highway then turn right onto Majura Road, about 10kms north of Canberra CBD, then 400m and turn left into Hector Macintosh Grove

Program:
Sat 6th dawn to 8.30 am practice, firearm & equipment scrutineering and shooters briefing.  9.00 am 80 shots Rimfire followed by briefe practice for Air Rifle practice session then 40 shot Air Rifle match.

Sun 7th dawn to 8.30 am practice, firearm, equipment scrutineering and shooters briefing. 9.00 am 80 shots Centerfire. Presentations at the end of shooting in the clubhouse.

Mon 8th dawn to 8.30 am practice, firearm & equipment scrutineering and shooters briefing. 9.00 am 40 shots Rimfire Hunting Rifle followed by brief Centerfire Hunting Rifle practice session then 40 shots Centerfire Hunting Rifle with presentations for Hunting Rifle events afterwards in the club house.

Nominations:
Fees: Air Rifle $20, Rimfire $25, Centerfire $30, Centerfire Hunting $15, Rimfire Hunting $15 all 5 events $90. Juniors and pensioners Air Rifle $10, $15 Rimfire, $15 Centerfire,  $15 Centerfire Hunting & $15 Rimfire Hunting for all 5 events $60.

Rules:
THE LAW: When in the ACT, carry your home state’s firearms registration & shooters’ licence.

Prizes:
PRIZES: Trophies for all grades, including juniors, 2-gun Trophies.

Facilities:
NOTE: Camping on the range with water and showers. Camping fees now apply a fee of $10 per person per night. Fires are allowed if there is no current fire ban. Canteen facilities will be available for the weekend.
