About the Baikal MP-133

The Baikal MP-133 is a Russian pump-action shotgun manufactured by the Izhevsk Mechanical Plant. Chambered for 12-gauge shells in 70mm, 76mm or 89mm (2.75, 3 or 3.5 inch) lengths, it uses a sliding forend with dual action bars feeding from an under-barrel tubular magazine holding up to four rounds. Known for rugged, inexpensive construction, the MP-133 is widely exported for hunting, sport and security use, with the MP-133K variant fed from a detachable box magazine.

The MP-133 replaced the earlier IZH-81 in Izhevsk's pump-action lineup and became one of Russia's most common civilian repeating shotguns, prized for affordability and the robustness typical of Izhevsk-built firearms.
