About the Benelli M4 EXT
The Benelli M4 EXT is a 2026 factory tactical evolution of Benelli's legendary gas-operated M4 combat shotgun. It ships with a flush-fit extended magazine tube for 7+1 capacity, a five-position collapsible stock with integrated pistol grip, ghost-ring sights, a Picatinny optics rail, and an oversized bolt release, packaging the upgrades that serious users had long been bolting on themselves. It retains the M4's self-regulating A.R.G.O. (Auto-Regulating Gas-Operated) twin short-stroke piston system.
The base M4 is the famous M1014, adopted by the U.S. Marine Corps in 1999 as the first semi-automatic shotgun in U.S. military service; for about 25 years U.S. civilians were stuck with a 5+1 tube while military and law-enforcement versions ran full-length tubes, and the EXT is Benelli's official answer.
