About the Beretta DT10 Trident
The Beretta DT10 Trident is a premium 12 gauge over-and-under competition shotgun produced from 2000 to 2014. Built on a robust cross-bolt locking action with a removable trigger group and Steelium barrels bored to Beretta's Optima-Bore profile with interchangeable Optimachoke tubes, it was engineered for the demands of high-volume clay target shooting. Offered in dedicated Trap, Skeet, and Sporting configurations, the DT10 became one of the most decorated competition over-and-unders in the sport before being succeeded by the DT11 in 2014.
Beretta calls the DT10 Trident the over-and-under that has won more competition medals than any other shotgun, and its success on the Olympic and ISSF clay-target circuit directly shaped its successor, the DT11.

Beretta's own literature describes the DT10 Trident as the competition over-and-under that has collected more medals than any other shotgun. The DT11 that replaced it uses a receiver 3mm wider than the DT10 for added durability while retaining the same cross-bolt locking concept.
