About the Boito Miura II

The Boito Miura II is a break-action over-under (superimposed barrel) double-barreled shotgun manufactured in Brazil by E.R. Amantino & Cia (Boito). Marketed as the first over-under shotgun produced in Brazil, it feeds two rounds in stacked barrels fired by twin triggers, and is offered in 12, 20, 28 and 36 gauge with interchangeable chokes and a hardwood stock. It is a popular and affordable hunting and sport shotgun in the Brazilian market.

The Miura II earned its place in Brazilian gun lore as the country's first domestically manufactured over-under shotgun, a milestone for Boito, one of Brazil's oldest firearms makers founded in 1955.

Barrel lengths vary by gauge (508-760 mm). The 12, 20 and 36 gauge models use a 76 mm (3 inch) chamber, while the 28 gauge uses a 70 mm chamber. Offered in standard oxidized, Luxo (nickeled receiver) and Super Luxo (nickeled and engraved) finishes; 12 gauge is also available with synthetic black or camouflage stocks.
