About the Caesar Guerini Ellipse Curve
The Caesar Guerini Ellipse Curve is an Italian over-and-under break-action shotgun and a premium engraving variant of the round-body Ellipse line, built in Brescia. Its hand-polished coin-finished receiver carries advanced machine-executed scroll engraving and is protected by Invisalloy coating, mated to a Turkish Circassian walnut stock with a hand-rubbed oil finish. Offered in 20 and 28 gauge with 28-inch chrome-lined barrels, a non-selective single trigger, automatic ejectors and five flush-fitting nickel-plated chokes, the 20-gauge gun weighs about 6 pounds 10 ounces as a light, elegant upland and sporting clay gun.
Caesar Guerini was founded in 2002 by brothers Antonio and Giorgio Guerini in Brescia, the historic heart of the Italian gunmaking trade; the Ellipse Curve showcases a new generation of computer-guided engraving that the maker touts as approaching hand-cut quality at a fraction of the cost.
