The Charles Daly 536 is a break-action, side-by-side double-barrel shotgun chambered in .410 bore with a 3-inch chamber. Built on a silver-finished boxlock receiver mated to blued barrels, it pairs hand-oiled checkered walnut stock and forend with a single-selective resetting trigger, interchangeable Rem-pattern choke tubes, a brass bead front sight and a manual safety. A traditional 26-inch-barrel small-bore field gun, it is marketed by the Charles Daly brand as an affordable entry into the classic English-style side-by-side.

The Charles Daly name dates to a 19th-century New York firearms importer; today it is a brand of Chiappa Firearms, with the 536 side-by-side line offering an inexpensive route to a traditional double-gun for small-bore upland and clay shooters.
