Browning-designed Winchester Model 1892 pattern. Its defining feature is a takedown construction that lets the barrel-and-magazine assembly be unscrewed from the receiver, splitting the rifle into two compact halves for storage, transport, or cleaning. Built around a case-colored steel receiver with a blued octagonal barrel and an American walnut stock, the '92 Takedown feeds from a tubular magazine and uses Browning's twin vertical-sliding locking-bolt action for a strong, smooth stroke.
