About the Cimarron Arizona Ranger Big Iron

The Cimarron Arizona Ranger Big Iron is a single-action revolver built as a faithful reproduction of the Colt Single Action Army. Chambered in .45 Colt, it uses a pre-war frame with a standard hammer and a six-round revolving cylinder. The 4.75-inch barrel is roll-engraved 'Arizona Ranger,' and the sixgun pairs a wide square-notch rear sight with a wide constant-width front sight over slim checkered walnut grips, evoking the frontier lawman revolvers of the Old West.

The revolver takes its identity from Marty Robbins' 1959 western ballad 'Big Iron,' in which an Arizona Ranger with a big iron on his hip rides into the town of Agua Fria to face the outlaw Texas Red.
