About the CZ Sharp-Tail

The CZ Sharp-Tail is a side-by-side double-barrel shotgun built on an Anson & Deeley-style boxlock action with a color case-hardened receiver. Manufactured for CZ by Huğlu in Turkey, it chambers up to 3-inch shells, feeds two rounds, and uses a single selectable mechanical trigger with automatic ejectors. It ships with five flush interchangeable choke tubes, a Turkish walnut stock, and a semi-beavertail forend, positioning it as an affordable break-action upland and clays gun.

The Sharp-Tail takes its name from the sharp-tailed grouse, reflecting CZ's branding of the gun as an upland bird hunter's side-by-side.
