The Diana 280 Classic is a German break-barrel, spring-piston air rifle manufactured by Mayer & Grammelspacher (Diana) of Rastatt, Germany. Offered in .177 (4.5mm) and .22 (5.5mm), it is a single-shot rifle cocked by breaking the barrel, driving a coiled spring and piston that compresses air to launch the pellet. The 280 Classic pairs a precisely crafted beech stock with Diana's adjustable T06 two-stage trigger, an automatic safety, and adjustable fiber-optic open sights, while a milled 11mm dovetail rail accepts a riflescope or red dot. In .177 it delivers a muzzle velocity of roughly 250 m/s with a 0.50 g pellet, making it a compact, well-balanced plinking and target rifle.
