About the Diana Stormrider

The Diana Stormrider is a compact, lightweight pre-charged pneumatic (PCP) air rifle chambered for .22 (5.5mm) pellets. Built on a 200-bar air cylinder and fed by a 7-shot rotary magazine in .22 caliber, it uses a bolt-action cocking mechanism and a rifled steel barrel. Marketed as one of the smallest and lightest entry-level PCP rifles, it is popular for plinking, pest control, and small-game hunting at moderate ranges.

Diana, founded as Mayer & Grammelspacher in Rastatt, Germany in 1890, is one of the oldest airgun makers in the world and uses the Roman goddess of the hunt as its namesake and emblem. The Stormrider marked Diana's push into the affordable multi-shot PCP market against rivals from the UK and China.

Sold in both .177 (4.5mm) and .22 (5.5mm) calibers and with synthetic or beech-wood stock options. The .177 version holds a 9-shot magazine while the .22 holds 7. The Gen2 revision added a regulator-ready design and improved barrel band for greater shot-to-shot consistency. Despite the German Diana brand, the Stormrider is manufactured to Diana's specification in Asia.
