About the Franchi Instinct
The Franchi Instinct is an over-and-under break-action shotgun built around a lightweight aluminum-alloy receiver. Chambered most commonly in 12 gauge, with 20 and 28 gauge offerings, it features a single selective trigger, automatic ejectors, interchangeable choke tubes, and an A-grade Turkish walnut stock. Marketed for upland field shooting and sporting clays, the Instinct line balances classic styling with a modern, easy-carrying frame.
Luigi Franchi has built shotguns in Brescia since 1868; the Instinct revived the company's break-action over-under tradition for the modern American field market after decades of focus on semi-autos.
