About the Hämmerli FP 10
The Hämmerli FP 10 is a Swiss single-shot free pistol chambered in .22 Long Rifle, built by Hämmerli of Lenzburg for the ISSF 50 metre free pistol precision event. It uses a falling-block breech, a highly adjustable mechanical set trigger, adjustable target sights, and an anatomically shaped adjustable wooden grip with removable balance weights. It succeeded the Hämmerli 160/162 free pistols and was itself later replaced by the FP 60.
The FP 10 continued Hämmerli's long dominance of Olympic free-pistol shooting; the company's precision single-shot .22 target pistols were the arm of choice for many 50 metre pistol medalists through the late 20th century.
