About the Hammerli FP60
The Hammerli FP60 is a single-shot .22 Long Rifle free pistol built for the ISSF 50-metre Pistol (Free Pistol) event. Successor to the popular FP10, it uses a falling-block breech and an internal hammer released by an ultra-light adjustable set trigger with an integrated dry-fire mechanism. The aluminium frame keeps weight down relative to the steel-framed Model 160 while retaining the same proven action, breech unit and orthopedic walnut match grip. A long barrel and generous sight radius, together with fully adjustable target sights, make it an exceptionally precise slow-fire competition pistol.
Hämmerli of Lenzburg, Switzerland built some of the most revered 50-metre free pistols ever made, from the Models 100 through 160; the FP10 and FP60 were the last chapter of that lineage before the classic Free Pistol discipline faded from Olympic competition.
