About the Hämmerli SP20 RRS

The Hämmerli SP20 RRS is a Swiss semi-automatic match target pistol built on the SP20 platform, offered in .22 Long Rifle (SP20 RRS 22) for ISSF 25 m and 50 m rimfire events and in .32 S&W Long (SP20 RRS 32) for the centre-fire discipline. The RRS designation refers to the pistol's recoil-reduction-system configuration, which combines a low bore axis, a heavy match barrel and an anatomically adjustable wrap-around grip with palm shelf to keep the sight picture steady between shots. It feeds from a five-round detachable magazine and uses a finely adjustable two-stage target trigger.

Hämmerli of Lenzburg, founded in 1863 as a maker of precision rifle barrels for the Swiss Army, became one of the most decorated names in Olympic target shooting, and the SP20 RRS carried that pedigree into ISSF competition as a purpose-built precision pistol.
