About the Hämmerli Trailside

The Hämmerli Trailside is a Swiss-made .22 Long Rifle blowback-operated, single-action semi-automatic sport pistol produced by Hämmerli and imported into the United States by SIGARMS. Built on an anodized aluminum frame with a steel slide, it was offered with 4.5-inch and 6-inch interchangeable barrels, a 10-round detachable magazine, a slide-mounted thumb safety, and adjustable target sights, aimed at plinking, informal target work, and rimfire competition.

Marketed in the US under the SIG Arms banner, the Trailside brought Hämmerli's Swiss target-pistol pedigree to affordable rimfire plinkers, its name evoking a companion for the outdoor trail rather than the Olympic firing line its maker was famous for.
