About the Henry Explorer H10
The Henry Explorer H10 is the .45-70 Government member of Henry's Explorer Carbine family, launched in May 2026. It holds four rounds in a tubular magazine, wears a 16.5-inch threaded barrel in Burnt Bronze Cerakote, and adds adjustable sights, a drilled-and-tapped receiver and sling swivel studs for a hard-hitting, short lever gun for big game and bear country.
The .45-70 was adopted by the US Army in 1873 for the Springfield trapdoor. A century and a half later it is still the cartridge Americans reach for when the animal might be looking back.
