About the Henry H001 Classic Lever Action
The Henry H001 Classic Lever Action is the foundational rimfire rifle that built Henry Repeating Arms into one of America's largest lever-action manufacturers. Chambered in .22 S/L/LR with a 15-round capacity in .22 LR (17 in .22 Long, 21 in .22 Short), the H001 features a butter-smooth lever action, blued steel barrel and receiver, American walnut straight-grip stock, adjustable buckhorn rear sight with hooded front, and a grooved receiver for optics mounting. Known for its slick action and exceptional accuracy out of the box, the H001 is widely considered the best-handling rimfire lever-action ever mass-produced.
When Anthony Imperato founded the modern Henry Repeating Arms in 1996, he licensed the legendary 'Henry' name from the original 1860s firearm and bet the company on a single product: a smooth-cycling, walnut-stocked .22 lever-action priced for working families. The H001 was that gun. Within a decade, Henry had become one of the top long-gun makers in the United States.
