About the Henry Homesteader
The Henry Homesteader is a 9mm pistol-caliber carbine introduced in 2023, marking Henry Repeating Arms' first semi-automatic rifle and its first venture into the popular PCC category. The Homesteader pairs classic Henry styling - a sealed American walnut stock and forend with a hard-anodized aluminum receiver and blued steel barrel - with a simple, reliable straight blowback action that cycles solely on the expanding gases of the 9x19mm cartridge. It feeds from removable stick magazines and ships with an interchangeable magazine-well system that lets the carbine accept proprietary Henry magazines or, via swappable adapters, Glock or SIG Sauer/Smith & Wesson M&P pattern 9mm magazines, giving owners commonality with their handguns. The 16.37-inch threaded barrel accepts suppressors and muzzle devices, and the carbine includes adjustable aperture sights, an ambidextrous bolt handle and safety, and a Weaver scope base for optics.
Henry Repeating Arms built its reputation almost entirely on lever-action rifles, so the Homesteader's debut as the company's first semi-automatic was a notable departure - and a deliberate play for the booming pistol-caliber carbine market driven by shooters wanting a rifle that feeds from the same magazines as their everyday-carry pistol.
