About the Huglu Woodcock

The Huglu Woodcock is an over-and-under double-barrel shotgun produced by the Huglu Hunting Firearms Cooperative in Turkey. Built on a boxlock action with a gauge-specific frame, the 20-gauge model is a lightweight upland field gun featuring a single selective trigger, selective automatic ejectors, screw-in interchangeable chokes, and a Turkish walnut stock with a color case-hardened receiver. It is imported into the United States under the CZ-USA brand as the CZ Woodcock.

The Huglu cooperative grew out of gunsmith workshops founded in the central Anatolian mountain town of Huglu after the Balkan Wars, formally uniting in 1962; its double-headed eagle trademark symbolizes the craftsmen's pledge to one another.
