About the Marlin Model 25M
The Marlin Model 25M is an American bolt-action rimfire rifle chambered in .22 Winchester Magnum Rimfire, produced by Marlin Firearms from 1983 to 1988. It fed from a detachable box magazine, used Marlin's Micro-Groove rifling, and was fitted with a birch hardwood stock, serving as an affordable magnum-rimfire sporting and small-game rifle.
Marlin's Model 25 series gave budget-minded shooters a no-frills bolt-action rimfire, and the .22 WMR Model 25M brought magnum-rimfire reach to that economy platform for varmint and small-game use.
