The Mossberg Model 395 is an American bolt-action shotgun chambered in 12 gauge with a 3-inch chamber, produced by O.F. Mossberg & Sons from the early 1960s into the 1980s. Fed from a detachable box magazine and operated like a bolt-action rifle, it was marketed as an inexpensive, rugged working hunter's gun, undercutting pump-action shotguns such as the Mossberg 500 and Remington 870 on price. Most variants featured Mossberg's C-LECT-Choke, an adjustable collet choke at the muzzle that could be twisted from improved cylinder to full without changing tubes.
