About the Mossberg Silver Reserve II
The Mossberg Silver Reserve II is an over/under break-action double-barrel shotgun imported and marketed by Mossberg International. Introduced in 2012 and built in Turkey, it pairs a scroll-engraved silvered receiver with blued, vent-ribbed barrels and a checkered black walnut stock. Offered in 12, 20 and 28 gauge as well as .410 bore, it ships with a set of five flush-fitting screw-in choke tubes and a single selective trigger, with field models using extractors and sporting models fitted with automatic ejectors.
The Silver Reserve name was revived by Mossberg as an affordable over/under aimed at hunters and clay shooters wanting the looks and choke versatility of much pricier European stack-barrel guns.
