About the Pardini PGP75
The Pardini PGP75 is a single-shot, bolt-action .22 Long Rifle free pistol designed for the ISSF 50 metre Free Pistol Olympic discipline. Developed by Italian marksman Giampiero Pardini in 1975, its manually cycled bolt breech and near-weightless set trigger made it an immediate success among top-level pistol shooters. The PGP75 was the founding product of Pardini Armi and established the design lineage that led to the later K50 and K22 free pistols.
The PGP75 launched Giampiero Pardini's career as one of the most successful competition-pistol makers in the world. Built by hand in a car body shop before Pardini Armi even existed, it drew a flood of requests from marksmen who improved their scores with it, prompting Pardini to found his company in 1976.

The PGP75 began as a prototype Pardini built by transforming his TOZ free pistol and hand-manufactured on a lathe and grinder on the first floor of his car body shop in Lido di Camaiore. Its bolt-action breech was a genuine innovation in free-pistol design. In the 1980s the PGP75 evolved into the K50.
