About the Perazzi TM1

The Perazzi TM1 is an Italian single-barrel break-action trap shotgun chambered in 12 gauge. Designed by Daniele Perazzi specifically for American (ATA) trap shooting, it pairs a single, heavily ribbed and tightly choked barrel with Perazzi's signature detachable dropout trigger group for easy adjustment and field swaps. Introduced around 1970 and imported into the United States through Ithaca Gun Company and Winchester during the 1970s, the TM1 became a sought-after competition single, typically fitted with a 32 or 34 inch full or extra-full choked barrel and high-grade walnut woodwork.

Daniele Perazzi developed the TM1 alongside the SC1 after American trap came onto his radar through Ithaca, building a single-barrel gun around the detachable dropout trigger that became a Perazzi hallmark.

Perazzi TM1 specifications

Sold in the U.S. through Ithaca as the 'Competition I' single-barrel trap. The detachable dropout trigger group is interchangeable across the TM1/MT/MX trap family. SCO and SCO Gold grades feature finer engraving; one early SCO Gold prototype run of about 105 guns dates to 1970.
