About the Pietta Great Western II U.S. Marshal

The Pietta Great Western II U.S. Marshal is a single-action revolver, a faithful reproduction of the Colt Single Action Army 'Peacemaker' built by the Italian firm Pietta. Chambered in .45 Colt with a 4.75-inch hammer-forged barrel and a six-round cylinder, it pairs a color case-hardened steel frame with a blued barrel and cylinder, a brass trigger guard and backstrap, and engraved walnut grips bearing U.S. Marshal badges. It retains the traditional four-click action and a floating firing pin for authentic Old West handling.

Pietta's Great Western II series revives the name of the original Great Western Arms Company, the first American maker of Colt SAA replicas in the 1950s, whose revolvers armed countless Hollywood Westerns before Colt resumed its own production.
