The Remington 700 ADL is a bolt-action rifle chambered in .30-06 Springfield, serving as the entry-level standard-grade member of Remington's Model 700 family introduced in 1962. The ADL is distinguished from the deluxe BDL primarily by its blind internal box magazine, which lacks the BDL's hinged floorplate and is loaded directly through the open action. Built around Remington's renowned cylindrical receiver and the 'Three Rings of Steel' design that fully encloses the cartridge head, it pairs dual-opposed front locking lugs with a recessed bolt face for strength and consistent accuracy. The rifle feeds four rounds, wears a 24-inch blued barrel, and is fitted with an X-Mark Pro adjustable single-stage trigger and a two-position safety. Long a staple of the American deer woods, the 700 ADL offers the accuracy and reliability of the Model 700 platform in an affordable, no-frills hunting configuration.
