About the Remington Model 121 Fieldmaster

The Remington Model 121 Fieldmaster is an American slide-action (pump) .22 rimfire rifle produced from 1936 to 1954. A hammerless takedown design fed from a tubular magazine, it chambered .22 Short, .22 Long, and .22 Long Rifle interchangeably and became one of Remington's most popular small-game and plinking rifles of the mid-20th century.

The Fieldmaster carried on Remington's slide-action rimfire lineage from the earlier Model 12, offering an affordable, accurate pump-action .22 that a generation of American shooters used for small game, pest control, and shooting-gallery plinking.
