About the Remington Model 521T

The Remington Model 521T is a bolt-action .22 rimfire target rifle introduced in 1947 as a mid-priced training and small-bore competition arm. Chambered for .22 Short, .22 Long and .22 Long Rifle, it fed from a detachable six-round box magazine and carried a 25-inch barrel with a Lyman receiver peep sight, making it a popular choice for junior marksmanship and club-level target shooting until production ended in 1968.

A staple of American junior rifle programs and small-bore clubs in the mid-20th century, the 521T earned a reputation as an accurate, affordable trainer that introduced generations of young shooters to target marksmanship.
