About the Rizzini Aurum

The Rizzini Aurum is an Italian boxlock over-and-under break-action shotgun built by Battista Rizzini of Marcheno, Brescia. Offered in 12, 16, 20, and 28 gauge as well as .410 bore, the 20-gauge model weighs about 6.4 lb and pairs nickel-chrome steel barrels with a coin-finished anodized steel receiver. It features automatic ejectors, a single selective trigger, a ventilated rib, five flush-fit nickel-coated choke tubes, and a Grade 2.5 Turkish walnut stock with a Prince of Wales grip and side game-scene scroll engraving.

Battista Rizzini founded his gunmaking firm in 1966 in Marcheno, in the Val Trompia gunmaking district of Brescia, Italy, the same valley that produced Beretta and many other historic Italian shotgun houses.
