About the Rossi Overland
The Rossi Overland is a side-by-side double-barrel shotgun chambered in 12 gauge, built in the classic 'coach gun' configuration with short 20-inch barrels, exposed external hammers, and twin triggers. Produced in Brazil by Amadeo Rossi from 1978 to 1994, it pairs a walnut buttstock and detachable beavertail forend with fixed chokes (modified and improved cylinder) and a top-break action. Its compact length and old-west styling made it popular with cowboy action shooters, ranchers, and home defenders.
With its short twin barrels and exposed hammers, the Overland evokes the stagecoach guards of the American frontier, making it a favorite prop in Westerns and a staple of cowboy action shooting.
