The SR9c shares the SR9's comprehensive safety feature set including ambidextrous manual thumb safety, trigger safety, magazine disconnect, loaded chamber indicator, and cocked striker indicator. The dual recoil spring assembly (versus the SR9's single spring) helps manage recoil in the lighter, shorter platform. The trigger was improved over early SR9 models with a lighter, crisper pull and no perceptible take-up. Conventional rifling allows the use of lead projectiles unlike Glock's polygonal rifling. Discontinued in 2017 alongside the rest of the SR-series.
