About the Fox Model B

The Fox Model B is a side-by-side, break-action double-barreled shotgun produced by Savage Arms under the Fox brand. A boxlock field gun chambered in 12, 16, 20, 28 gauge and .410 bore, it was Savage's affordable utility double, distinct from the high-grade A.H. Fox guns that preceded it. Early guns used double triggers, while later versions adopted a single trigger and a ventilated rib on deluxe models.

The Fox Model B let generations of American hunters own a classic side-by-side 'Fox' double at a working-man's price, even though it shared little but the name with the revered A.H. Fox guns of the early 1900s.
