The Savage Model 110 is a bolt-action repeating rifle introduced in 1958 and designed by Nicholas L. Brewer. Named for its original $109.95 retail price, it is the longest continuously produced bolt-action rifle platform in American history. Originally chambered in .30-06 Springfield and .270 Winchester, it later expanded into more than 20 cartridges from .204 Ruger to .338 Winchester Magnum. In 1959 it became the first commercial bolt-action rifle offered in a left-handed configuration. Since 2003 it has featured the user-adjustable AccuTrigger, an industry-changing trigger system that gives the shooter a light, crisp pull while remaining drop-safe.

The Model 110's name comes directly from its 1958 launch price: $109.95. When Savage introduced the AccuTrigger in 2003, it was the first user-adjustable trigger on a sub-$500 production rifle and forced every major bolt-action maker to follow suit, ending the era of mandatory aftermarket trigger swaps.
