About the Seekins Precision SIC

The Seekins Precision SIC (Seekins Interchangeable Caliber) is a modular bolt-action precision rifle introduced in 2026 and engineered for military, professional, and long-range precision shooters, with development aimed at U.S. Special Operations Command requirements. The defining feature is a true interchangeable-caliber system that lets the user swap barrels, bolts, and magazine components to support multiple cartridges - including 6.5 Creedmoor, .308 Winchester, .300 Win. Mag., .300 PRC, .300 Norma Magnum, .338 Norma Magnum, and .338 Lapua Magnum - without losing zero repeatability or system integrity. The rifle is built around a one-piece machined-steel receiver with an integral 20-MOA optics rail, fed by 12-round double-column magazines, and runs a three-lug bolt with a 60-degree throw on a Remington Model 700 pattern trigger interface. The 26-inch barrel is carbon-fiber-wrapped 416R stainless steel with hand-lapped, single-point-cut rifling. A tool-free folding chassis, AR-compatible grip, bilateral thumb safety, ambidextrous paddle magazine release, and M-LOK and ARCA attachment points round out the platform, finished in flat dark earth Cerakote.

Seekins built the SIC around a single idea: one rifle that becomes seven. By swapping the barrel, bolt, and magazine, a shooter can move from a soft-shooting 6.5 Creedmoor trainer to a .338 Lapua Magnum anti-materiel cartridge on the same chassis, retaining zero - a capability driven by Special Operations Command's appetite for a single armory-managed multi-caliber weapon system.
