About the Weihrauch HW30
The Weihrauch HW30 is a lightweight break-barrel, spring-piston air rifle chambered in .177 (4.5mm). Built by the German maker Hermann Weihrauch, it is renowned for its smooth cocking stroke, the proprietary two-stage Rekord trigger, and excellent accuracy at modest power levels. Tuned to sub-12 ft-lb energy, it is widely regarded as one of the best entry-level and junior spring rifles, equally popular for plinking and field target shooting.
Hermann Weihrauch's airguns earned a cult following for their hand-fitted Rekord trigger, and the compact HW30 became the rifle many shooters cite as the gun that taught them spring-piston technique.
