Description
Vintage German combination gun in 'Drilling" or triplet format. As such features two shotgun barrels over a singular rifled barrel. Proofmarks indicate that it was manufactured in February of 1926, and retailed by the wholesaler Albrecht Kind aus Hunstig (or AKAH). The rifled barrel is stamped "7.8mm" and appears to be chambered for the 8x57JR cartridge, which has a smaller .318" projectile. As such it should not be used with the standard modern 8x57 ammunition, which uses a larger .323" projectile.
