Description

Range ready Black Creek Labs MRX Bison in 5.56 NATO ! The MRX Bison is a modern Canadian built compact, light & rugged bolt action rifle that sits in an aluminum, monolithic chassis with this example boasting the 16.5 inch barrel & chambered in 5.56 NATO so capable of taking commercial .223 no problem. The MRX has a super short 3 lug 60 degree bolt throw & is fitted with a TriggerTech trigger. The TriggerTech trigger is known as one of the smoothest single stage “zero creep” triggers on the market & can be adjusted from 2.5 to 5 pounds of pull. The chassis is machined from aircraft grade aluminum & finished with Type III hard coat anodize & Cerakote. The chassis comes with side & under rail MLOK mounting points with an integral “one point” QD sling point on the opposite side of the bolt. The build incorporates MDT & Magpul parts wherever possible as can be seen in the photos. This example comes with a clear Vortex Diamondback Tactical 6-24x50 scope mounted on quality triple clamp rings & sports a Magpul bipod to go with the AR stock & magazine.. Black Creek Labs have undertaken to supply a replacement firing pin as there have been reports of soft stikes & similar issues with the MRX Bisons & this rifle comes with the replacement which is yet to be fitted as it has not had this problem. With around $1,000 in savings over buying new, this is great value so don't hesitate if you think this is for you! We are not going to try & rate the condition out of 100 as everyone seems to have a different opinion on what the percentages should be, so we'll let the pictures be the description. Whilst we check these out for serviceability, the warranty has expired & this is sold on an 'as is' basis. As with all used guns, we recommend you have this checked by a suitably qualified person prior to shooting. Standard cost for shipping to metro locations is $55 & all guns are sent via StarTrack without insurance but packed very well.
