Browning WW2 Nazi Pistole 641b

Matching numbered & Wehrmacht issue! This World War 2 Browning FN Model 1922 pistol was made in Nazi Occupied Belgium circa 1942/43 by Fabrique Nationale d’Armes de Guerre (National Factory of Weapons of War or FN) after it was taken over by the occupying German forces & given the German occupation nomenclature of Pistole 641b. Many Belgian workers were retained & continued production under the direct supervision of the Nazis. As can be seen in the photos, this example is in great original condition, is completely matching numbers, has Nazi proof & acceptance (Waffenamt) marks in all the right places (including the barrel, above the S/N). Historically these pistols were mainly issued to Luftwaffe aircrew as it was a lighter, smaller pistol more suited to moving around in a cramped aircraft & a smaller calibre of 7.65mm was considered sufficient for self defence against animals in the event of being shot down. The overall condition is excellent as can be seen in the photos. The original wartime blue is still present although has diminished in places from holster wear, (see photos), the markings are clear & legible & grips are in very good condition with no cracks while the bore is sharp & shiny. Here is a fantastic Nazi coercive handgun from World War 2 & one for the collector of rare or unusual WW2 handguns.
