Offered for sale is this very nice example of the famed Colt 1911. The Series 80 is the current model of the 1911 & is in excellent condition & has not done much work which can be seen in the photos. The Series 80 is/was the term used to refer to a number of modifications made to the firing mechanism of the Colt 1911 pistol. These updates were added in 1983 & were dubbed the "Series 80" since the previous revision to the base model gun was similarly dubbed the Series 70. This is club legal & comes with the original factory box & one magazine. This was purchased from the original owner due to leaving the sport because of age. We are not going to try & rate the condition out of 100 as everyone seems to have a different opinion on what the percentages should be so we'll let the pictures be the description. You will know if this is for you so view the photos carefully & make your decision based on what you see as they form the main description & override all written information. Ask for more if desired.
