Description Shipping Reviews Help A Martini-Enfield Cavalry Carbine Mk. II in .303 British, which was converted by Royal Small Arms Factory (RSAF) Enfield from a Martini-Henry I.C. 1 in .577-450 originally made by RSAF Enfield in 1884. The left-hand side of the receiver bears the royal cypher of Queen Victoria, with "V.R. Enfield 1901 M.E. 303 C.C. II" written beneath it. The right-hand side of the receiver again bears the royal cypher of Queen Victoria, with the text "V.R. Enfield 1884 I.C. 1" written beneath it. As a Martini-Enfield,it was issued to the New South Wales Government likely in August of 1908, with the text "CG NSW 2145 8/08" stamped into the butt stock over a very faint text of "V.A. 4 89" beneath it.
