Offered for sale is this nice example of a Fabrique Nationale (FN) Browning ‘Trombone’. The Trombone was a neat hammerless pump action rimfire rifle designed by John Browning in 1919 & FN produced it from 1922 to 1974. These are immensely popular little rifles & are in high demand, both with collectors & plinkers as they can cycle .22short, .22 Long & .22LR. These were known to sometimes crack at the wrist & not unusually, this has had a repair of cracks on either side of the wrist & which appear to have been done well (see photos). It actions correctly with no issues & the bore is fine. It has had an aperture peep sight fitted for better accuracy I guess. We have priced this appropriately to sell so if you think it might be what you're looking for, don't hesitate. We are not going to try & rate the condition out of 100 as everyone seems to have a different opinion on what the percentages should be so we’ll let the pictures be the description.
