Husqvarna M.38

All Matching With Sling Offered for sale is this Swedish Model 38 which has visible matching numbers on the whole bolt, barrel, barrel bands, floor plate, butt plate & receiver. This rifle began life specifically as an M.38 manufactured by Husqvarna Vapenfabriks Aktiebolag in 1941 as seen stamped on the receiver & was not part of the refurbishment program whereby M.96 rifles were arsenal converted as part of the trend toward shorter service rifles & became designated as the M94/38 as this was done in 1938. Thye M.38 is easily identified by the bent bolt as opposed to the straight handles on previous models. These rifles were used by all arms of the Swedish military during WW2, along with the Finnish Army in their war(s) against the USSR. This example is in outstanding overall condition as can be seen in the photos & the wood is in better than average condition but does have some of the usual markings from service life. The metal work is clean & has a nice even blueing still present with the bolt still very clean & bright although the thread protector on the barrel has gone MIA. These can be found easily enough on eBay & similar sites. Stock disc on these rifles provides details of the condition of the rifle according to the armourers indicating this in very good condition.
