Mauser Model 1914/34

Mint & Matching Officers Rig! The Mauser Model 1914 is a semi-automatic pistol made by Mauser & was popular as private purchase pistols for German military officers. The later Mauser Model 1934 was an updated version of the Model 1914 which were used by the German police & military officers during both World Wars & there were many variants along the way. This example is what is known as a 'Fifth Variation' which is in absolutely mint unrestored condition, as can be seen in the photos. The deep, rich rust blue is immaculate & the trigger, takedown lever at the front & the extractor bar still display the beautiful nitre blue plus the one piece grips have no scratches, marks or cracks! In support of this being a German officers private purchase, this pistol comes with a correct brown military holster which has clear Waffenamt marking WaA41 on the strap & jhg on the holster flap, which correspond to G. Genschow Berlin, 1942. As can be seen on the slide, it is chambered in 7.65mm (.32 ACP) & likely manufactured during the interwar years & according to the S/N 498198, it was likely made 1934-35 at Mausers Oberndorf facility. The slide is correctly marked “Cal. 7.65” & features the D.R.P.u.A.P. patent marking (Deutsches Reichspatent und Ausländische Patente), which is correct & desirable for this early NSDAP era. These pistols are a great entry into the wonderful world of collecting 20th Century German military pistols at a very affordable cost & would be a good investment. We are offering this pistol as a collectable piece of military history & acknowledge the grievous atrocities committed by the Nazi regime & some of its military, particularly toward the peoples of occupied territory & the Jewish population in Europe. In no way do we condone or glorify the Nazi regime which must be remembered for the vile stain on human history that it was. Whilst we check these out for serviceability, the warranty has expired & this is sold on an 'as is' basis. As with all used guns, we recommend you have this checked by a suitably qualified person prior to shooting.
